Through nature we see that there is pattern in everything. These patterns, including the one inside our heart, create the diverse and abundant beauty of this earth. Come explore the Nature in you.
Inside each of our hearts is a pattern desiring to express itself. A pattern that when expressed supports the ongoing creation of diversity and beauty within this Living Earth Community.
Through explorations in nature we see that there is a pattern in everything, and those patterns are the intelligent creation of a 14 billion year history. We humans too are a pattern of that intelligence.
Paulie Glow from Luminous Youth is holding a 10-week journey for six 7-9-year-olds to explore patterning through local nature-based adventures in the Byron Shire.
Through this wholesome journey of nature adventure, storytelling, pattern-mind practice, creativity, collaboration, discussion, self-reflection and free-play we explore how we are embedded in the 14 billion year history of unravelling intelligence. The history of this natural landscape holds patterns of creation that explain much about our own humanity.
Through mentoring this program supports learners towards being in “right relationship” with themselves, each other and their environment. We further explore our responsibility as the human species and explore the patterns within ourselves that may support the ongoing creative process of this beautiful earth.

The Core Focuses of Pattern Matters!
Pattern Matters follows the age-old wisdom stories that celebrate the genius in each of us. These stories recognise that inherent in each of us is an expression seeking to support the ongoing creation of beauty and life here on earth. As a human being it is our responsibility to seek to find these gifts of ours and use them to not only fulfil our heart’s desire but to serve the Living Earth Community.
The following are a set of principles upon which this program was designed:
Each of Us Holds Unique Skills / Attributes / Qualities Wishing To Express Themselves
Born into this earth each of us is connected to the Soul of The Earth. Each of us is impacted by experiences that support us in recognising what strengths we hold and how these may translate into our individual purpose within a collective community.
Each of Us Is Different and That is Valuable
Once we are aware that we have certain strengths and skills it is possible for us to gain a better understanding about others and their strengths. Together we can recognise that each of us is a valuable contributor to a community in our own unique way. This is what supports a diverse and flourishing community.
Being Aware of Our Actions Matters
Awareness of our impact on others and the world supports us to receive, interact with, and direct our intention into our creative potential. It also requires us to engage with others in respectful ways and supports us in understanding the interconnectivity of the living world.
There are Multiple Ways of Knowing & Experiencing
In addition to thought, other ways of knowing such as the use of our twelve senses including intuition inform our experiences and understanding of the world. Sharing our experiences through discussion can help us understand and appreciate our patterns and gifts and those of others too.
We are Part of an Interconnected Web of Life
We are part of an interconnected living universe. What we do influences the world around us, and the world around us influences us. A greater understanding of the interdependence of all life leads us to a greater feeling of belonging.
